MONTHLY CALENDAR EXAMPLETHEATRE EVENTS CALENDAR

The Monthly Calendar style is our solution for businesses that need to display numerous future events. It is great for a Theatre, Circus, Opera, Arena, Cinema, Museum, Aquarium or Comedy Bar. The calendar will always be displayed chronological, so your visitors can see right away which events are available soon. This schedule style doesn’t need filters to display the classes in a smart and user friendly way, but you can choose to use them if you want.

  • Events are listed in a monthly calendar, with a box for each day
  • You can set the events to be one-time or repeatable events
  • Clicking on events will open a pop-up window, with text and images
  • You can assign as many Types, Directors and Locations as you need
  • The size of the box will adjust depending on the number of events

With the Monthly Calendar style, one of our 12 schedule styles available, you can display your events in a simple monthly calendar, with a box for each day, with or without events. Filters can be used to sort the events and the selection will reflect in the calendar, the days with no events will have an empty box. If there are no events matching the selection, it will display a custom “no events available” message.

Let’s see how this schedule was created

On the right, you can see an actual screenshot of the Schedule Builder for this timetable. You can create one yourself, in only a few minutes, with the following steps:

  • Enter a title for your schedule, something like Theatre Monthly Calendar.
  • Select the Monthly Calendar style, great for a Theatre, Circus or Cinema.
  • Choose your Schedule Contents. You can use the All option, to display Classes with any Type, Location or Instructor, or you can select the ones you need. In our example, we selected only the ones relevant to a Theatre calendar.
  • The Available Filters tabs work in the same way. You can make a selection different than the one you have for Schedule Contents. This way, you can restrict filtering exactly how you want. In our example, we do not use filters.
  • Use the Schedule Labels fields to name the Categories and Filters how you want. In this example, we changed the Instructor label to Director, to be relevant for a Theatre calendar.
  • You can also customize other messages, like the one for no events available.
  • On the right, you can choose how many days to display. For the Monthly Calendar, this options is not available, as it will always display one month at a time.
  • With the Display Options switchers you can choose to hide some of the info.
  • The Filters Options switchers allow you to show only the filters categories you want. In this example, we hide all filters.
  • Choose how the pop-up modal should look. We are using the Small option.
  • The Monthly Calendar Options allow you to customize display elements, like the position of the events list, borders, highlight style and others.

Your Schedule is Ready! You can add it with our
custom Visual Composer element or you can
use the auto-generated shortcode on the right.
